The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iram is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fernandez stalks Iram and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Iram's face. Iram staggers backwards, shaken.

Fernandez drops Iram with a beautiful combination! Iram stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fernandez is looking for the KO!

It looks like Alex Iram has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Iram throws an overhand right that lands on Fernandez's shoulder, as Fernandez tries to avoid the shot.
Fernandez throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Iram.
Fernandez throws a series of punches but Iram moves out of range.
Fernandez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Iram has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fernandez connects with a solid leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Fernandez.
Fernandez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Iram avoids a punch combination nicely.
An inside leg kick lands from Fernandez.
Fernandez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Iram circles away quickly and effectively.
Some wild striking there from Iram.

Oooooh!!! Fernandez has knocked Iram down with a huge combo! Fernandez steps away and waves a wobbly Iram back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Iram is breathing heavily.
Fernandez misses with a jab, cross combination.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Fernandez has cracked Iram with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Fernandez lands another huge swinging hook and Iram tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Iram, before Fernandez can land any more shots!
