Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlisle Estanova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Scarlatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarlatti has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Estanova.
Scarlatti dives in and grabs Estanova's left leg, looking for a takedown. Estanova pushes down on Scarlatti's head and hops out.
Estanova throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Scarlatti closes the distance and clinches.
Scarlatti wants a takedown but no success here.

Estanova gets control of Scarlatti's arms and successfully pulls guard. Estanova will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Scarlatti wants to pass the guard but Estanova is keeping the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scarlatti won't allow Estanova to get back to his feet.

Carlisle Estanova has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Scarlatti shoots in for a double leg but Estanova sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Scarlatti takes the fight into the clinch.
Scarlatti jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Estanova walks away with a smile on his face. Scarlatti gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Scarlatti looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
It looks like Scarlatti might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Scarlatti might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Estanova kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Scarlatti makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
