The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Gotch closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Teixeira did well to prevent Gotch getting side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
