Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Snerve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damien Snerve is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snerve throws a series of strikes that have Ross backpedaling.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Snerve.
Ross closes the distance and clinches up with Snerve, looking for a takedown. Ross pushes Snerve against the cage but Snerve circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ross misses with a wild combination.
Ross leaves Snerve with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ross stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damien Snerve. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snerve misses with a series of wild punches.
Ross tries to land a leg kick but Snerve saw it coming and moves away.
Snerve throws a series of punches but Ross moves out of range.
Snerve lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Snerve shoots in looking for a takedown. Ross tries to sprawl out of it but Snerve keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ross manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ross.

Snerve misses with the combination.
Snerve tries for a takedown but Ross circles away easily
and Ross counters with a head kick.
Ross tries a head kick but it misses.
Snerve works over Ross's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Mike Ross has been cut.
Ross shoots in but Snerve avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Snerve gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ross to score an easy takedown into full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ross looking to sit in guard and control but Snerve gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snerve. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Snerve postures up.

Snerve not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ross not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ross working a defensive guard but Snerve manages to pass into side control anyway.
Ross is trying to work for a sweep but Snerve has mounted him!

Snerve takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Snerve avoids the attempt from Ross to control.
Ross is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snerve is landing with some decent strikes but Ross is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Snerve quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Snerve but it's paid off an Ross is forced to tap! Nice work by Snerve.
