Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kiko Kaluma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig has chosen The Misfits-Where Eagles Dare as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaluma doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Danzig makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Danzig fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Kaluma takes the fight into the clinch.
Kaluma tries a knee to the head but Danzig blocks it.
Kaluma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Danzig has hold of one of Kaluma's legs. Kaluma is fighting the takedown attempt but Danzig gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Kaluma is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kaluma had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Danzig defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Danzig accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Danzig is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kaluma on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kaluma tries to get out of the position.

Danzig drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Danzig jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Danzig has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Danzig tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Kaluma is desperately trying to improve his position but Danzig has a good base and remains in mount.

Danzig with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Danzig takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Danzig working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kaluma looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Danzig! Submission of the night perhaps?
