The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rademeyer misses with a takedown attempt - Scott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
rademeyer is staying active underneath Scott, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Scott wants to free his trapped foot but rademeyer is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Scott is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, rademeyer has managed to free his arm - good work.

Scott wants to work for an arm triangle but rademeyer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Scott has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Scott has hold of rademeyer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and rademeyer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

rademeyer tries to control Scott's body but Scott pushes him off. rademeyer squirms to his side and now Scott has his back!

Scott is cranking rademeyer's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for rademeyer! He's tightened the choke and rademeyer is tapping out!
