PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edwax Mags (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Bringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bringer has chosen the faceless-leica as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Edwax Mags looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bringer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dominic Bringer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bringer throws a right and a left that Mags avoids nicely.
Bringer lands with a nice combination. Mags backs away looking to recover.
Bringer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mags moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mags dodges the punch combination from Bringer.
Bringer misses with the combination.

Mags feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mags seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mags thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mags sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bringer's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bringer wants to get back to his feet.
Bringer looks gassed!

Mags maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Bringer could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mags has cracked it and Bringer is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mags!
