The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khaled scores with a crisp jab that stopped Reed in his tracks.

Reed feints and as Khaled raises his hands in defense, Reed changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Khaled pulls Reed in close to his closed guard and prevents Reed from doing any damage or advancing position.
Reed working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Khaled is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Reed pushes Khaled off looking to stand but Khaled dives back in and keeps control.
Khaled is keen to just control but Reed is a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Khaled Khaled was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Khaled lands a head kick!
Reed shoots in for a takedown but Khaled shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Khaled lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reed's sensitive parts.
Reed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Khaled, right into the meat.
Reed is breathing heavily.

Reed tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khaled swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Reed throws a right and a left that both miss.

Khaled drops Reed with a right and a left! Khaled comes rushing in but Reed regains his composure and manages to keep Khaled in guard.

Khaled controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Khaled Khaled has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Khaled tries to clinch up.

A chopping leg kick lands by Khaled.
Khaled works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Reed throws a nice looking combination but Khaled bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Khaled Khaled is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Khaled tries to clinch up.
Reed shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Khaled as he jumps to the side.
Khaled lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Reed takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Khaled feints and then cracks Reed's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reed down.
Khaled connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Khaled throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Reed crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
