Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shaoki Aomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Kimmel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aomi fails with a takedown attempt.
Aomi shoots for a takedown but Kimmel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Aomi tries to close the distance and clinch but Kimmel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A jab from Kimmel does it's job there.
Aomi wants to clinch
and Kimmel counters with a straight right hand.
Shaoki Aomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aomi shoots in and drives through. Kimmel sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaoki Aomi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kimmel scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horrible takedown by Aomi or perhaps it was just good defense by Kimmel which made him look bad.
Kimmel throws a big shot that misses.
Aomi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nice takedown defense from Kimmel. No joy for Aomi on that attempt.
Aomi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kimmel.
Aomi throws a series of punches but Kimmel moves out of range.
Kimmel swats away the attempt to clinch by Aomi.
Nice jab there from Kimmel.

Kimmel fakes the body blow, causing Aomi to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Aomi goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
