Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rufus Lee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vitor Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rufus Lee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range.
Lee throws a one two combo.
It looks like Vitor Gracie has been cut.
Gracie moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Lee loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch.
Gracie takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lee avoids the body shot from Gracie.
Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gracie swinging wilding here.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
Lee lands with an uppercut that bounces Gracie off the cage and back into rage.
Gracie throws a jab when Lee was well out of range.
Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard.
Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee pushes Gracie off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitor Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Gracie throws an off balance right hand
and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lee tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A nice combination there by Gracie.
Gracie wants to clinch but Lee slips to the side
and Lee counters with a left and a right... And another left! Gracie is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rufus Lee!
