The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luffy takes one to the chin there.
Luffy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Burns connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Luffy throws the kick towards the body but Burns avoids it.
Luffy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Burns is looking to escape.
Luffy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Luffy stops Burns from getting back to his feet.
Burns is staying active underneath Luffy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Luffy wants to work for an arm triangle but Burns is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Luffy in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Burns tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Luffy!
