Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Penagos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penagos comes into the arena with Somebody Gonna Get Their Ass Whooped! blaring out of the sound system. Lombard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mortal Kombat kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Carlos Penagos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penagos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Penagos takes a swing at Lombard's ribcage but misses.
Penagos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sloppy strikes from Penagos. Those never looked like landing.
Lombard walks into a jab.
Lombard takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Penagos connects with a right hand. Lombard shakes it off.
Penagos scores with a shot to the body.
Lombard chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Penagos can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lombard stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Penagos.
Lombard looks gassed!
Lombard takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Penagos connects with a body shot that sends Lombard's belly button to the back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penagos tries to bum rush Lombard with a series of wild strikes but Lombard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lombard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Penagos was well out of range. Poor timing from Lombard.
Penagos connects with a body shot.
Penagos throws a good cross that connects.
Lombard gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Penagos lands a nice looking body kick.
Carlos Penagos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Penagos lands a left and a right that send Lombard crashing to the mat, dazed. Penagos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Lombard is rocked!

It looks like Hector Lombard has been cut.
Penagos circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Lombard tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Penagos wins by KO!
