Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrus attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Ferrus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Svern Ferrus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ferrus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mincemeat but Mincemeat pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ferrus lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mincemeat has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mincemeat and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ferrus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Ferrus goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mincemeat turns into him and now he's in Ferrus's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mincemeat thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ferrus's head.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mincemeat fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ferrus on the side of the head.
Philean Mincemeat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ferrus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Mincemeat counters with a three punch combo that has Ferrus backing up. Ferrus nods at Mincemeat to acknowledge the strikes.

Ferrus is rocked!
A punch lands to the side of Ferrus 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mincemeat fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd cheers as Mincemeat lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ferrus doesn't seem phased though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mincemeat works Ferrus's body with a nice hook.
Ferrus looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Ferrus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mincemeat is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Ferrus swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mincemeat is now in Ferrus's guard. A big mistake from Ferrus there, giving up the dominant position!

Ferrus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mincemeat can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ferrus wants to sweep here but Mincemeat controlling him for the moment.

Mincemeat avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ferrus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mincemeat doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ferrus is tightening it up a little... Mincemeat has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mincemeat reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mincemeat taps out! nice BJJ there by Ferrus!
