Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfonso De Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richter Alastrasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Souza comes to the ring accompanied by Black Capricorn Day - Jamiroquai. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Alastrasz might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, De Souza has got the better of the exchanges.

Alastrasz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
De Souza is bucking up trying to escape but Alastrasz cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Alastrasz wants to control the pace but De Souza is squirming around nicely.

Alastrasz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. De Souza can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
