Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between charles white (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tight ben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, charles white!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, tight ben!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ben looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
ben tries to bum rush white with a series of wild strikes but white uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
ben swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

ben darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
ben drops an elbow to the side of white's head.
white is trying to get back to full guard.
ben winds up and cracks white with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

ben wants to work for an arm triangle but white is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
white is trying to defend against the ground and pound but ben scores with a couple of nice shots.

white is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but ben pulls his head out easily.

white looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
white gets back to full guard.
ben works over white with some ground and pound from guard.

ben thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
white wants to sweep but no luck.
ben tries to free his leg and advance position but white is retaining full guard.
ben looks gassed!

ben with a flurry of punches that miss.

white is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
ben won't allow white to sweep him here.
ben working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of white's head.

white looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
ben trying to control the position from guard on top but white is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
ben with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
ben must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

white escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. ben gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
ben trying to control but white is working from the bottom.

ben is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but white has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. ben is looking to defend but white has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for ben! white pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, ben taps out and this one is all over!
