The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRiot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lefevre as he jumps to the side.
McRiot is breathing heavily.
Lefevre with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Lefevre misses with a hook. McRiot ducked under it nicely.
McRiot gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lefevre.
McRiot uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lefevre.
Max McRiot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McRiot on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
McRiot takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lefevre misses the shot to the body.
Lefevre misses with an uppercut.
Lefevre tests McRiot's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McRiot uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lefevre.

Lefevre stuns McRiot with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lefevre misses with a wild body shot.
McRiot ducks under a wild hook from Lefevre.
Lefevre cracks a nice hook into McRiot's ribs.
McRiot on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Lefevre misses with a hook.
Lefevre throws an overhand right that lands on McRiot's shoulder, as McRiot tries to avoid the shot.
Nice body punch from Lefevre.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McRiot tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lefevre sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McRiot somewhat.

McRiot walks into a stiff left hand from Lefevre.
Lefevre thows a body shot but no joy.
Lefevre throws a shot from downtown. McRiot moves away and avoids it.
Lefevre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McRiot manages to avoid it.
Lefevre feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McRiots jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
McRiot is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lefevre lands a nice shot to the body.
McRiot gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

McRiot is rocked!
Lefevre throws an uppercut from hell that sends McRiot clean off his feet! He's out cold! Lefevre stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
