The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brazilian Bjj shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Swan counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Swan jumps guard and drags Brazilian Bjj to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Brazilian Bjj drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brazilian Bjj jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Brazilian Bjj drops back looking for a leg! Swan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Swan manages to kick Brazilian Bjj off! Brazilian Bjj jumps back into Swan's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Filipe Brazilian Bjj.
Brazilian Bjj closes the distance and clinches up with Swan, looking for a takedown. Brazilian Bjj pushes Swan against the cage but Swan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Swan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Swan lands in his opponent's guard.

Brazilian Bjj has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Swan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Swan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Brazilian Bjj to the ground. Swan is now in Brazilian Bjj's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Swan lands a right hook to the body.

Swan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Filipe Brazilian Bjj will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Swan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brazilian Bjj. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brazilian Bjj has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Swan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brazilian Bjj.
