Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zen Zelli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyler Durden!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden throws a body punch but Zelli moves out of range.
Durden pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Durden misses the shot to the body.
Zelli avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zelli fails with an attempt to clinch.
Durden throws a jab when Zelli was well out of range.
Zelli tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zelli wants to clinch.
Durden throws out a loose jab but Zelli uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Durden slips a jab from Zelli.
Durden dodges the punch combination from Zelli.
No joy there for Zelli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zen Zelli is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zelli ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Durden thows a body shot but no joy.
Zelli darts in trying to clinch
and Durden counters with a stiff right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Durden gets a clinch.
Zelli is trying to force a seperation but Durden has the dominant position.
Zelli misses with a short punch on the inside.
Durden is pushing Zelli up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Zelli tries to break the clinch but Durden is controlling the position.
Zelli working aggressively here.
Zelli lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Zelli has Durden pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Zelli pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Durden tumbling to the mat - Zelli dives into Durden's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Durden trying to keep a closed guard but Zelli is proving a slippery customer.
Zelli won't allow Durden to sweep him here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zelli has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Durden is proving hard to escape from.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Durden is on top in guard.
Durden wants to pass the guard but Zelli is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zelli tries to close the distance and clinch but Durden swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Durden dives in and grabs Zelli's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zelli pushes down on Durden's head and hops out.
Durden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zelli avoids the body shot from Durden.
Durden misses with a hook.
Zelli darts in trying to clinch
and Durden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


It looks like Zen Zelli has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Durden dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Zen Zelli's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A big right from Durden misses.
Durden throws the left hand but Zelli avoids the punch easily.
Zelli misses with a double jab
and Durden counters with a stiff right hand.
Zelli moves in looking to clinch but Durden pushes him off.
Zelli closes the distance but Durden moves to the side
and Durden counters with a right hand to the body.
Zelli tries to clinch but Durden moves away
and Durden scores with a counter punch that sends Zelli to the canvas! Durden smells blood - he's punishing Zelli with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Zelli has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyler Durden!
