Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Trebor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gerald Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones stuffs the takedown.
Trebor tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily
enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab.
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Trebor swivels and escapes.

Jones feints and as Trebor raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Trebor looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones lands a couple of digs.
Trebor pulls Jones in to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones trying to control but Trebor is working from the bottom.
Trebor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Trebor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Trebor from controlling successfully.

Jones wants to get back to his feet but Trebor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Robert Trebor just wasn't active enough.

Jones has managed to clinch.
Come on Jones - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Jones wants the takedown. Trebor is fighting it off but Jones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Trebor's guard against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones postures up in Trebor's guard and throws a big left but Trebor blocks it.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones won't allow Trebor to get back to his feet.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trebor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jones works over Trebor with some ground and pound from guard.
Jones throws and elbow that misses. Trebor uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Trebor!
Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Trebor is proving a slippery customer.

Jones is controlling Trebor's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gerald Jones was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Trebor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
No luck for Trebor with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Trebor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jones.
Trebor is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Trebor misses with a looping right.
Jones lands a two punch combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gerald Jones dominated that round.
That's time! Trebor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Jones looks to land a combination but Trebor avoids it well.
No luck for Trebor with that takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trebor.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Trebor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Trebor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones lands a jab to the head.
Jones cracks Trebor with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jones pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Trebor back to the cage. Jones follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


Trebor is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones lands a huge takedown. Trebor is out but the ref is slow to react and Jones lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Trebor lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gerald Jones!
