Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chad Slone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slone comes to the cage accompanied by In The Air Tonight. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Slone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Richardson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nate Richardson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Richardson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slone chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Richardson can pounce on him.
Richardson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Slone walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Richardson lands with a thumping leg kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Slone.
You can see the frustration on Richardson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Richardson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Slone kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Richardson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Slone is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slone in side control, just content to control the action for now.
An elbow from Slone crashes against the mat.
Richardson pushes Slone away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Slone gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
You can see the frustration on Richardson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Slone closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Richardson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Richardson moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Slone goes down! Can Richardson finish him!?

Slone is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Slone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Richardson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Oh Slone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Slone is trying to control the position but Richardson postures up.
Richardson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Slone seems to have got his legs back now.
Slone looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Slone is breathing heavily.
Richardson wants to control from the top but Slone keeps moving.
Richardson tries to stand but Slone is controlling from the bottom.

Slone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Richardson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Richardson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slone is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Richardson.
Richardson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Slone on the side of the head.
Slone tries to clinch but Richardson is having none of it.
Nate Richardson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Slone sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Richardson lands an overhand right.
Richardson connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Slone! He's out on his feet! Richardson rushes in and drops Slone with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
