Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frodo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canelo Jhonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frodo Baggins!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Canelo Jhonson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jhonson moves into the clinch.
Jhonson has had enough of the clinch but Baggins keeps him there for the moment.
Jhonson tries to pull guard but Baggins holds him up against the cage and eventually Jhonson drops back down to his feet.
Baggins's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Jhonson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Baggins has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jhonson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Jhonson covering up well and avoiding damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baggins trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Jhonson doesn't escape.
Baggins lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Jhonson is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Baggins off. It looks like it's working - Baggins slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Jhonson displaying calm under pressure there.
Baggins shoots for a takedown but Jhonson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jhonson wants to clinch up but Baggins keeps it at a distance.
Jhonson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jhonson drops back looking for a leg! Baggins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baggins manages to kick Jhonson off! Jhonson jumps back into Baggins's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Baggins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Baggins is thwarting Jhonson's attempts to control the position.

Baggins works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jhonson is looking to improve his position but Baggins isn't that keen on the idea.
Baggins is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jhonson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jhonson!

Jhonson wants to free his trapped foot but Baggins is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Baggins moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jhonson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Baggins is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jhonson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jhonson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Baggins doesn't seem bothered though.

Jhonson stuffs the takedown attempt from Baggins. Baggins gets slowly back to his feet.
Jhonson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jhonson.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Jhonson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Baggins's best efforts.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baggins prevents Jhonson from standing back up.
Jhonson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Baggins scores with a couple of nice shots.
Baggins is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jhonson!
You get the feeling that Jhonson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Jhonson can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Canelo Jhonson will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Baggins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jhonson sprawls well initially but Baggins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jhonson is in trouble now - Baggins has advanced to mount!

Baggins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jhonson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Jhonson is bucking up trying to escape but Baggins cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jhonson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Baggins! Submission of the night perhaps?
