The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crichton throws a sloppy head kick
and Chilavert counters with a good low kick that Crichton was not able to check.

Crichton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chilavert gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chilavert takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Crichton has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Chilavert clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
