Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ness Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuki Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Webster's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cinderella Man. Kobayashi has chosen Mars - The Bringer of War as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobayashi throws out a leg kick but Webster moves out of range and Kobayashi only half commits.
Webster walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kobayashi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Ness Webster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Webster is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kobayashi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Webster is working away from the top position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Webster looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kobayashi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kobayashi looks to land a right hand but Webster moved out of range.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Webster crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kobayashi - the referee stops the clock and Webster gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kobayashi. Webster manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Webster shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kobayashi pinned against the cage. Kobayashi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kobayashi tries to clinch but Webster moves out of range.
That kick from Kobayashi tenderised Webster's leg. Webster is trying to keep his angry face on.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
