The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato misses with an uppercut.
Sato throws an off balance right hand
and Head finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Head is looking to score with low kicks.
Sato lands a nice hook to Head's body. Head takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Head throws a sloppy head kick and Sato moves out of range easily.
Head looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Head dodges the punch combination from Sato.
Head pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Head lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sato will feel that in the morning.

Sato connects with a crisp jab.
Sato throws a lazy uppercut
and Head counters with a leg kick.
Head throws a sloppy head kick and Sato moves out of range easily.
Head misses with a low kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Head.
Head chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sato misses with a kick to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Head enables Sato to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Head manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Head is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sato is controlling him.
Sato is pushing down on Head's leg trying to pass to half guard. Head is fighting to maintain full guard but Sato has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sato is looking to advance position but Head won't allow it.
Head has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sato is working away from the top position though.
Well, if Sato is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
