Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hatsu Ishikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladamir Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Drago's choice of entrance music: Id Hate To Be You Right Now. Hatsu Ishikawa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladamir Drago!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Ishikawa.
Drago ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ishikawa moves away.
Drago throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Drago blocks a head kick by Ishikawa.
A left and a right from Ishikawa both land. Nice combination.
Ishikawa lands a head kick!
Ishikawa throws a head kick but Drago moves out of range.
Drago has a takedown stuffed.
Drago tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Drago shoots in and drives through. Ishikawa sprawls well.

Hatsu Ishikawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladamir Drago.

Drago tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ishikawa smiles and moves away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Vladamir Drago has been cut.
Drago shoots in but Ishikawa avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Drago tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ishikawa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Drago gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Ishikawa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Drago, pushing him back against the cage.

Ishikawa has Drago pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ishikawa pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Drago tumbling to the mat - Ishikawa dives into Drago's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ishikawa's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Ishikawa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drago swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Drago working for a triangle but Ishikawa defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ishikawa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Ishikawa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ishikawa wants to control from the top but Drago keeps moving.

Drago looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ishikawa has picked Drago up and slammed him! Drago can't keep hold of the triangle and Ishikawa manages to pass to side control!

Ishikawa scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Drago is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ishikawa can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
