Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Persius Exavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Sir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Persius Exavier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pablo Sir!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sir scores with a nice strike.
Sir looks to land a left hand but Exavier moved out of range nicely.
Sir changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sir dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Exavier is breathing heavily.
Exavier blocks a jab.
Sir digs a good body shot into Exavier's ribs.
Exavier's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sir connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Exavier scrambles back to his feet.


It looks like Persius Exavier has been cut.
Sir fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Exavier looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Sir steps into range and cracks Exavier with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Exavier flops backwards and Sir dives into his guard looking to finish!


Exavier is rocked!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sir has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Exavier is proving hard to escape from.
Oh Exavier is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Exavier seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Exavier is working an open guard so Sir takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Sir misses with a straight left.
Exavier walks into a straight right hand from Sir.
Sir connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Sir connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Exavier momentarily.
Sir thows a left - swing and a miss!
Exavier takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sir moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Exavier darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Exavier is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sir is just riding it out for now. Exavier eventually gives up the hold.

Sir looks like he's trying to stand up.
Exavier tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sir knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Exavier is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sir defends it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Exavier is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sir sees it coming and defends easily.

Exavier is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Exavier is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Sir as he works his way to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sir wants to get back to his feet but Exavier is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Exavier pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sir is keeping the position for now.

Exavier drops back looking for a leg! Sir is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sir manages to kick Exavier off! Exavier jumps back into Sir's guard.
Sir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Exavier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sir wants to get back to his feet but Exavier is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Exavier tries to free his leg and advance position but Sir is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pablo Sir dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Persius Exavier's cut.
That's time! Exavier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Sir misses with a right hand

and Exavier counters with a takedown into side control.

Exavier is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sir knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Exavier tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Exavier looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Exavier tries for a kimura but Sir is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sir is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Exavier has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Exavier is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sir knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Exavier tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Exavier has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Exavier tries for a kimura but Sir is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Exavier swings around for an armbar but Sir sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Exavier's guard.
Exavier has a closed guard, preventing Sir from standing up.

Exavier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sir gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sir stands up and waves to Exavier to follow him.
Sir misses with a straight left.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sir looks to land a right hand but Exavier moved out of range.
Exavier slips under a jab.

Exavier shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sir's guard.
Exavier looking to pass the guard.

Exavier has gone for a leg lock! Sir slips out almost immediately though and dives into Exavier's guard.
Sir has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Exavier is proving hard to escape from.

Sir decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Exavier, up you get!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Exavier.
Persius Exavier is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sir just misses with a punch to the body.
Sir works the jab nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Exavier ducks under a wild hook from Sir.
Sir throws a jab when Exavier was well out of range.
Sir misses with an uppercut. Exavier saw that one coming.
Sir displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Exavier.
Sir swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Exavier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Exavier prevents Sir from standing back up.

Exavier is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Persius Exavier dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Persius Exavier's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Exavier shoots in looking for a takedown. Sir tries to sprawl out of it but Exavier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sir manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Exavier closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sir circles away.
Sir lands with an uppercut that bounces Exavier off the cage and back into rage.
Sir getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Exavier takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sir with a jab.
Sir ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pablo Sir seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Sir throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Exavier stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Exavier on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Sir lands a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sir cracks Exavier with a hook to the temple - Exavier is on wobbly legs here! Sir swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Exavier falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Sir wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pablo Sir!
