The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Rico misses.
Jankovic feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rico's calf.
Rico dodges the punch combination from Jankovic.
Rico takes a swing at Jankovic's ribcage but misses.
Rico throws a shot from downtown. Jankovic moves away and avoids it.
A left lands for Rico.
Jankovic lands a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jankovic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rico is breathing heavily.
Jankovic ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rico takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jankovic ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jankovic throws a wild body kick that Rico sees coming a mile off.
Rod Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jankovic jabs Rico to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jankovic bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Rod Rico has been cut.
Jankovic lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rico will feel that in the morning.

Jankovic lands a left and a right that send Rico crashing to the mat, dazed. Jankovic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jankovic lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Rico head around and knocks him out cold! Jankovic hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
