Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trainer Box!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Sepi!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sepi tries to close the distance and clinch but Box swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A big right from Box misses.
Nice defenses there by Sepi.
Box throws a looping overhand right but Sepi ducks down to avoid it.
Box takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sepi slips a straight right by Box.
Box throws a hook but Sepi avoids it easily.
Sepi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Box sprawls well. Box wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sepi gets slowly back to his feet.
Good exchange - Box coming out on top.

Sepi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sepi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Box with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Box is not content to let Sepi control the position.

Sepi thows a huge punch but Box dodges it nicely.
Sepi is looking to advance position but Box won't allow it.
Box on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Box tries to get out of the position.
Sepi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Sepi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Box is just riding it out for now. Sepi eventually gives up the hold.

Sepi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Box is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
