Taft gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kongo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Taft has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kongo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kongo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Taft tries to pull guard but Kongo won't allow it.
Kongo is trying to break the clinch but Taft has him pressed against the cage.
Taft drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kongo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Taft. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Taft changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kongo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
