The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuuharja lands a jab.
Kuuharja misses with a right hand
and Dong counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kuuharja throws a poor cross that misses
and Dong counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kuuharja tries to clinch but Dong moves out of range.
Kuuharja connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dong's hands.
Kuuharja looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dong avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kuuharja misses with a looping left.
Kuuharja swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kuuharja fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dong on the side of the head.

Kuuharja tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dong paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kuuharja swings for the body but Dong moves out of range.
Kuuharja tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Dong counters with a straight right hand.
Juri Kuuharja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuuharja has his takedown stuffed
and Dong makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Dong moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Kuuharja jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Kuuharja clinches with his opponent.
Dong will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kuuharja up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dong throws a body punch but Kuuharja moves out of range.
Kuuharja tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kuuharja misses with a jab to the body
letting Dong counter with a right hand.

It looks like Juri Kuuharja has been cut.
Dong is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Kuuharja misses with an uppercut. Dong saw that one coming.
Kuuharja lands a jab to Dong's midsection.
Kuuharja throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dong.
Kuuharja misses with the combination.
Dong ducks under a wild hook from Kuuharja.
Kuuharja lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kuuharja moves to clinch but Dong breaks away

and Dong counters with a head kick that drops Kuuharja to the mat! Kuuharja scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Kuuharja is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kuuharja takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Kuuharja stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dong.
Dong lands with a nice body kick.
Kuuharja tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kuuharja on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dong. Dong obviously looking to wear him down.
Dong buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kuuharja seems to have recovered his senses.

Dong fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kuuharja.
Dong lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kuuharja's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dong fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kuuharja looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kuuharja on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Dong.

Kuuharja wants to stay close but Dong steps back to make room for something. Kuuharja seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Dong and Kuuharja drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
