Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emile Graton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graton walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Turner checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Turner closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Graton's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Turner looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Graton looks to land a right hand but Turner moved out of range.
Graton throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Turner shoots in for a takedown but Graton shows good takedown defense.
Graton works over Turner's head and body with a nice combination.
Turner thows a body shot but no joy.
Graton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turner circles away quickly and effectively.
Graton moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Timmy Turner has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Graton lands with a shot to the body.
Graton throws a right and a left that both miss.

Turner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Graton is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Turner asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Graton is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Turner lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Graton down.
Graton is letting Turner control him for a moment.
Turner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Turner decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Turner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
