The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ribeiro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Crotatni tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ribeiro is in Crotatni's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ribeiro passes Crotatni's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ribeiro in particular looking to stall.
Crotatni trying to hold on to Ribeiro's head to control him but Ribeiro postures up.
Ribeiro wants to pass the guard but Crotatni is defending well.

Ribeiro postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Crotatni to stand up.
Ribeiro showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Crotatni.
Ribeiro takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Crotatni lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ribeiro at a distance.

Ribeiro takes the fight into the clinch.

Ribeiro decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ribeiro is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Crotatni has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Ribeiro is in a lot of trouble! Crotatni is straining to finish and he's done it! Ribeiro taps out! Amazing!
