The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hildr counters with a nice uppercut.

Hildr takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Jackson Hildr has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rodgers slips a jab and a cross from Hildr.
Rodgers throws a head kick but Hildr moves out of range.
Hildr throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rodgers counters with a thumping low kick.
Rodgers doesn't manage to clinch there - Hildr circles away.
Hildr swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Rodgers counters with a head kick that drops Hildr to the mat! Hildr scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rodgers throws a leg kick which misses Hildr's front leg but catches the back leg as Hildr tries to avoid it.

Rodgers darts in trying to clinch
and Hildr counters with a three punch combo that has Rodgers backing up. Rodgers nods at Hildr to acknowledge the strikes.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rodgers.
Rodgers lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hildr's sensitive parts.
Hildr is breathing heavily.
Rodgers moves in looking to clinch but Hildr pushes him off.

Rodgers moves into the clinch.
Rodgers lands an elbow that stopped Hildr in his tracks for a moment.
Rodgers scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Hildr can't break the clinch.
Rodgers trying to land knees to the body.
Hildr takes an elbow to the forehead.
Hildr managing to block the knees to the body from Rodgers.
Hildr is trying to break the clinch but Rodgers is controlling him.
Rodgers gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Rodgers lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Hildr is rocked!
Rodgers has Hildr pressed against the cage. He pushes Hildr back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Rodgers throws a beautiful elbow that sends Hildr crashing to the floor! Rodgers piles on the pressure with more strikes! Hildr is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
