Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Damajur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Martin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jake Damajur's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Damajur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Martin!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damajur checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Martin tries for a takedown but Damajur sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Martin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Martin keeps control of Damajur as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Martin takes a knee to the side of the body.
Damajur misses with a body punch.
Damajur breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Damajur tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Damajur.
Martin shoots in for a takedown but Damajur shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd cheers as Damajur lands an impressive looking overhand right. Martin doesn't seem phased though.
Martin rushes Damajur and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Martin throws an elbow but it misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Martin takes a knee to the side of the body.
Damajur is trying to drag Martin to the mat but Martin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Damajur lands a knee to the body.
Damajur breaks the clinch.
Damajur tries to close the distance and clinch but Martin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Martin swats away the attempt to clinch by Damajur.

Martin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Damajur smiles and moves away.
Jake Damajur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Martin.

Damajur shoots in and drives through. Martin sprawls well.

Damajur lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Martin circles away quickly and effectively.
Damajur shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Martin as he jumps to the side.
Martin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Martin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Martin is trying to get an arm triangle but Damajur is defending well.

Martin in side control, throwing shots but Damajur defends.
Martin throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Damajur is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Martin tries to move into full mount but can't pass Damajur's legs.
Damajur is trying to get back to his feet.

Damajur is trying to control Martin's posture but Martin avoids it.

Martin throws an elbow but Damajur slips to the side and avoids it well.
Damajur pushes Martin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Martin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Martin wants to control but Damajur is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jake Damajur will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Martin feints and as Damajur raises his hands in defense, Martin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Damajur lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Martin!

Martin reaches up and holds on to Damajur to control the position.

Damajur jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Martin is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Martin and Damajur has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
A lull in the action here as Damajur stalls from top position.

Martin is looking to reverse the position.
Damajur decides to stand back up. Damajur steps back and let's Martin get back to his feet.
Damajur misses with a takedown attempt
and Martin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Damajur is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Damajur looking for a sweep. Not yet Damajur, not yet.
Damajur wants to get back to his feet but Martin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Martin is looking to stand up but Damajur won't let him.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Martin darts in and clinches Damajur up against the cage.
Martin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Damajur gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Martin is breathing heavily.
Damajur will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Martin up against the cage.
Martin tries to score a body lock takedown but Damajur shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Damajur manages to pull guard.
Martin with a flurry of punches that miss.
Martin throws a big right hand that misses.
Martin wants to pass the guard but Damajur is keeping the position.
Damajur pulls Martin in close to prevent any damage.
Martin wants to control from the top but Damajur keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Martin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Martin closes the distance and pushes Damajur back into the cage.

Martin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Damajur gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Damajur wants to stand but Martin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Damajur is trying hard to land a takedown here. Martin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Damajur throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martin shoots in looking for a takedown. Damajur tries to sprawl out of it but Martin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Damajur manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Martin has taken the fight to the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Martin.
Martin stalls.
Martin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Damajur throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Damajur throws a jab when Martin was well out of range.
Martin fails to land the takedown.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Damajur crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Martin - the referee stops the clock and Damajur gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Martin. Damajur manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Damajur throws a leg kick that is checked
and Martin counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Damajur wants to sweep here but Martin controlling him for the moment.
Damajur can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Martin controls the pace.
Damajur is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Damajur swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Martin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Martin keeps the fight on the outside.
Damajur throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Martin's head.
Damajur lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Martin circles away quickly and effectively.
Damajur tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Martin was well out of range. Poor timing from Damajur.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Damajur lands with a nice body punch.
Damajur feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Damajur stays in close to Martin's body and controls the position.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jake Damajur.
I think Damajur has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
