Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack London (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Jussipe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Jack London!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Jussipe!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
London fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jussipe manages to avoid it.
Jussipe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by London.
London throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jussipe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jussipe shoots for a takedown but London saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
London connects with a high kick.
Jussipe wants to clinch up but London keeps it at a distance.
London throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jussipe counters with a flying knee. Nice.

London gets a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
London tries a body shot but Jussipe blocks it.
London is trying to break the clinch but Jussipe has him pressed against the cage.
London wants to get back to striking at distance but Jussipe won't allow it.
London wants to break free but Jussipe has control.
Jussipe goes for a takedown in the clinch but London prevents it.
London wants to break the clinch but can't.
London gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jussipe.
Jack London has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Jussipe.

London breaks from the clinch.
London throws a body punch but Jussipe moves out of range.
Jussipe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

London lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jussipe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
London throws a solid leg kick but Jussipe takes the impact on his shin and smiles at London.
London swings and misses with a hook to the body.

London rushes Jussipe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

London's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
London tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jussipe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jussipe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A jab from London misses.

London wants to clinch.
London stuffs the takedown attempt from Jussipe. Jussipe gets slowly back to his feet.

London moves into the clinch successfully.

London manages to break the clinch.
Jussipe fails with an attempt to clinch.
London slaps away a takedown attempt from Jussipe, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Jussipe or perhaps it was just good defense by London which made him look bad.
Jussipe shoots for a double leg takedown but London sprawls well. He's pushed Jussipe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
London throws a series of punches but Jussipe avoids them all with ease.
London misses with a low kick.
London throws a shot from downtown. Jussipe moves away and avoids it.
London keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jussipe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jussipe tries a head kick but it misses.
London tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jussipe was well out of range. Poor timing from London.

London has Jussipe up against the cage in a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jussipe has London pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. London manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jussipe prevents London from breaking the clinch.
London wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jussipe has him pressed against the cage.
London can't break the clinch.
London looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
London slows down the pace here.

London escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
London scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
London takes one to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack London dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


London throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jussipe on the side of the head.

London has closed the distance and engaged Jussipe in a clinch.
Jussipe fails to pull guard.

London breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jussipe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
London lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jussipe misses with a head kick.
Sloppy strikes from London. Those never looked like landing.
Jussipe throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Jussipe lands a big head kick that sends London tumbling to the mat! Jussipe takes a step backwards and waves London back to his feet - he wants the finish!


London is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
London misses with a body shot
and Jussipe counters with a nice kick to the body.
Oh London is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jack London is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jussipe measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes London! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
