A fine choice. Soto has chosen kill switch engage-when darkness falls as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Soto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Soto takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Takeda, right into the meat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Takeda.
Moa Soto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooh a lovely combination from Soto sends Takeda down but not out. Soto dives into side control looking to finish.
Takeda is rocked!
It looks like Ryu Takeda has been cut.
You can see the frustration on Takeda's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Oh Takeda is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Takeda tries to bench press Soto off him but Soto keeps the position.
A big shot lands for Soto! That's hurt Takeda! Will he recover? Soto fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
