Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Garelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dai Hard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garelli comes to the cage accompanied by Patriarch on a Vespa. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Garelli throws a sloppy head kick and Hard moves out of range easily.
Hard throws a shot from downtown. Garelli moves away and avoids it.
Hard swings widly with a right hand
and Garelli counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hard lands with a hook. Garelli tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hard throws a push kick but Garelli slaps the foot to one side.
Nice body kick from Garelli.
Garelli misses with a shot to the body
and Hard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hard takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hard misses with a two punch combination.
Hard steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Garelli. That one must have hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hard looks to land a right hand but Garelli moved out of range.
Hard does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Garelli misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Garelli moves out of range of the strikes.
Dai Hard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hard connects with a body shot that sends Garelli's belly button to the back.
Hard keeps the fight on the outside.

Nice uppercut there from Hard.

Hard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Garelli tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hard's elbow.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Garelli.

It looks like Dai Hard has been cut.
Garelli lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hard backwards.
Hard has Garelli pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Garelli manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Garelli lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hard drops down looking for an ankle pick but Garelli pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hard looks for a takedown but Garelli sprawls well.
Joe Garelli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dai Hard.

Hard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garelli swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hard throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hard takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hard jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Garelli drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Garelli lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Garelli takes a swing at Hard's ribcage but misses.
Hard throws out a loose jab but Garelli uses good head movement to avoid it.
Garelli throws a sloppy head kick and Hard moves out of range easily.
Hard's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hard duly obliges.

Hard shoots in and gets a takedown into Garelli's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hard throws a big right hand that misses.
Hard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Garelli works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Garelli keeping moving, preventing Hard from controlling successfully.
Garelli wants to sweep but no luck.

Garelli is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hard defends well.

Hard is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Garelli is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Garelli has escaped and now he's on top!

Garelli throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hard works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Garelli wants to control from the top but Hard keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A punch lands to the side of Hard 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Garelli digs a good body shot into Hard's ribs.
Hard moves to clinch but Garelli breaks away
and Garelli counters with a head kick. That will keep Hard thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hard throws the left hand but Garelli avoids the punch easily.
Garelli misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hard.
Garelli thows a body shot but no joy.
Hard throws a hook but Garelli blocks it.
Joe Garelli is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Garelli misses the shot to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Garelli doesn't manage to clinch there - Hard circles away.
Garelli lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Garelli tries to close the distance and clinch but Hard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Garelli will probably get the nod.

Hard throws a right and a left that Garelli avoids nicely.
Hard misses with a lunging right hand
and Garelli counters with a nice uppercut.
Garelli connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Garelli lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Hard is rocked!
Garelli seems to be stalking Hard here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Hard drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
