Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zack Hitana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arcot Ramathorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zack Hitana looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arcot Ramathorn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hitana shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hitana was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ramathorn tries to hold on but Hitana postures up.
Hitana tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hitana has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Zack Hitana wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Hitana clobbers Ramathorn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ramathorn scores with a hook to the body. Hitana takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hitana fails with a takedown attempt.
Ramathorn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ramathorn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ramathorn keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Ramathorn fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hitana on the side of the head.
Ramathorn keeps the fight on the outside.
Ramathorn swings for the body but Hitana moves out of range.
Hitana takes one to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ramathorn, as that shot connected.
Ramathorn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hitana manages to avoid it.
Ramathorn swings away with a body shot that misses
and Hitana counters with a nice uppercut.
Ramathorn lands a head shot.
Ramathorn misses with a wild body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ramathorn throws a looping overhand right but Hitana ducks down to avoid it.
Hitana shoots in for a double leg but Ramathorn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ramathorn misses with a body shot.
Ramathorn closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Hitana! Ramathorn dives in looking to finish! Hitana is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
