Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buck Shot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Neruda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neruda has chosen powermad - nice dreams as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neruda throws a nice looking combination but Shot bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Neruda misses with a combination
enabling Shot to counter with a crisp jab.
A lazy body kick from Neruda
and Shot counters with a one-two to the body.
Neruda keeps the fight on the outside.
Shot tries to close the distance and clinch but Neruda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Shot wants to clinch.
Shot cracks Neruda with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Neruda missing with a left hand there. Shot was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shot blocks a head kick by Neruda.

Neruda swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Shot counters with a nice uppercut.
Neruda throws a predictable looking body shot
and Shot connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Neruda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shot manages to avoid it.

Neruda moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Shot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Neruda.
Shot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Neruda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Shot tries to clinch but Neruda moves out of range.
Buck Shot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Neruda attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Shot wants to clinch up but Neruda keeps it at a distance.
Neruda throws a combination that misses
and Shot makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Neruda looks gassed!
Shot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Neruda manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shot wants to clinch up but Neruda keeps it at a distance.
Neruda keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Neruda is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Neruda has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Neruda there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Neruda takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Shot counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Shot counters with a big right hand! Oh Neruda is in trouble here! Shot follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
