The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fran throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haahtee's waist but Haahtee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fran off to one side.
Fran shoots in and drives through. Haahtee sprawls well.

Haahtee throws a looping overhand right but Fran ducks down to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fran tries to score a power double leg takedown but Haahtee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fran somewhat.
