PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nino Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sianleuka Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pendulum - Slam. Sianleuka Jack told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack throws out a leg kick but Blaze moves out of range and Jack only half commits.
Blaze scores with a kick to the body.
A jab from Blaze finds it's way through Jack's defenses.

It looks like Sianleuka Jack has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Blaze. Jack does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jack uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blaze.
Blaze throws a right hand that Jack ducks under and follows up with a left that Jack also avoids with ease.
Blaze misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jack.
Blaze throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blaze checks a low kick from Jack.
Jack avoids the head kick by Blaze.
Blaze scores with a kick to the midsection.
Jack throws a chopping leg kick but Blaze manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jack stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Blaze.
Jack looks gassed!
Jack avoids the head kick by Blaze.
Jack scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Jack 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A jab from Blaze finds it's way through Jack's defenses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blaze throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jack's head.

Blaze clinches up against the cage.
Jack takes a shot to the head.
Blaze avoiding damage as Jack throws knees to the body.
Blaze blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Good body shot from Blaze.
Blaze lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

That has opened up Sianleuka Jack's cut even more.
Blaze lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Blaze lands a body shot in the clinch.

Jack prevents a body shot from Blaze.
Blaze lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Jack misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Blaze.
Blaze tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jack's elbow.
Blaze lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jack.

Blaze breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jack takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jack takes one to the side of the head.

The cut above Sianleuka Jack's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A jab from Blaze does it's job there.
Jack takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Blaze cracks a nice hook into Jack's ribs.
Blaze fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jack looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Blaze with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Blaze jabs Jack to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jack takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Sianleuka Jack's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
A decent looking cross lands there for Blaze.

Jack is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sianleuka Jack's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
