The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry shoots in but Pinksy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Henry tries to bum rush Pinksy with a series of wild strikes but Pinksy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pinksy digs a good body shot into Henry 's ribs.
Henry throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pinksy throws a sloppy head kick and Henry moves out of range easily.
Henry dives in and grabs Pinksy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pinksy pushes down on Henry 's head and hops out.
Henry fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Curtis Henry . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Henry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Henry thows a left - swing and a miss!
Pinksy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Curtis Henry has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Henry avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A punch combination from Henry misses.
Curtis Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henry is breathing heavily.
