Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Melora McKay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon The Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKay fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Hammer avoids it really well and circles away.
The Hammer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McKay tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. The Hammer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McKay falls off balance throwing a combination
and McKay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McKay swings for the body but The Hammer moves out of range.
The Hammer connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The Hammer lands a nice shot to the body.
The Hammer scores with a crisp jab that stopped McKay in his tracks.
McKay is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McKay swings for the body but The Hammer moves out of range.
Oh McKay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McKay is looking to clinch but The Hammer is avoiding it.
The Hammer lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - McKay can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from The Hammer and McKay drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by The Hammer.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon The Hammer!
