The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRae wants to clinch up but Franklin keeps it at a distance.
McRae avoids a punch combination nicely.
Franklin throws an off balance right hand
and McRae counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McRae feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Franklin's calf.
Franklin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
McRae misses with a jab, cross combination.
McRae defending well as Franklin loads up on a big left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McRae turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Franklin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McRae sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Franklin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McRae uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Franklin.
McRae lands with an overhand left.
McRae tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McRae takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Franklin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Franklin throws a jab when McRae was well out of range.
Franklin lands with a hook. McRae tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Franklin has had enough of the clinch but McRae keeps him there for the moment.
McRae lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Franklin backwards.

McRae tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
McRae digs a right hand underneath Franklin's ribcage. Franklin let out a lung full of air as it connected.

McRae tightens his grip and picks Franklin up, before dumping him to the ground. Franklin manages to land in guard.

McRae is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
McRae tries to free his leg and advance position but Franklin is retaining full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Steve McRae showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and Franklin counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts McRae! He's just covering up as Franklin starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
