The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Aziz misses with a two punch combination.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Al Aziz.
Al Aziz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Al Aziz cracks De Luca with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! De Luca looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Al Aziz finish him?

It looks like Giuseppe De Luca has been cut.
De Luca avoids the head kick by Al Aziz.
Al Aziz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Al Aziz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Luca moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
De Luca is breathing heavily.

Al Aziz rushes De Luca and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

De Luca is fighting off a takedown attempt but Al Aziz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip De Luca to the mat. De Luca regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

De Luca wants to sweep but no luck.

Al Aziz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on De Luca, up you get!

De Luca misses with a takedown attempt - Al Aziz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Horrible takedown by De Luca or perhaps it was just good defense by Al Aziz which made him look bad.
De Luca fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Al Aziz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but De Luca paws at him with a jab and circles away.

De Luca closes the distance and clinches.

Al Aziz postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Al Aziz gets to his feet. De Luca looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

De Luca forces Al Aziz back against the cage and clinches.
De Luca drops down looking for an ankle pick but Al Aziz pulls his leg out and moves away.

Al Aziz misses with a head kick.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Al Aziz! De Luca is backing up but he can't get away as Al Aziz lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops De Luca and ends the fight. Great knockout.
