Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dre Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mason connects with a solid leg kick.
Terry Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mason lands with a kick to the temple. Silva shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Silva throws a hook but Mason avoids it easily.
Mason uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva.

Mason moves into the clinch successfully.

Mason avoids the elbow strike from Silva, against the cage.

Mason breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mason fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silva.
Mason throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Mason moves out of range as Silva strikes.
Mason avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mason lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Silva throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mason shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.
Silva stuffs the takedown.
Silva throws a hook but Mason blocks it.
Mason will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Silva fails to land with a series of punches.

Mason has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mason has Silva pressed against the cage.

Mason breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Terry Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva works the jab nicely.

Mason closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mason tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mason is breathing heavily.
Mason is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Silva pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Silva is trying to break free.
Mason fails to pull guard.
Mason is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Silva wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mason has him pressed against the cage.

Mason escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva connects with a stiff jab that staggers Mason - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
