Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dean Fay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Lars Fightmann!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fightmann connects with a body shot.
Fightmann digs a good hook to Fay's body.
Fay fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fay tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fightmann paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A punch lands to the side of Fightmann 's head but he takes it in his stride.


It looks like Lars Fightmann has been cut.
Dean Fay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fightmann thuds a left hand into Fay's body.
Fightmann defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fay.
Nice uppercut lands for Fay. That snapped Fightmann's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fightmann scores with a takedown into Fay's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Fay wants to sweep here but Fightmann controlling him for the moment.

Fightmann got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fay has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fightmann has managed to get both his arms back between Fay's legs - danger averted.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fightmann accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fightmann wants to control from the top but Fay keeps moving.
Fay manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fay prevents Fightmann from getting the reversal.
Fay tries to control but Fightmann wriggling away.
The referee warns Fightmann that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Fay landing punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fay trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Fightmann holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Fay tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Fightmann slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Fightmann gets full guard.
Fay passes Fightmann's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Fay will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fay seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Fightmann has recovered full guard.

Fay tries to free his leg and advance position but Fightmann is retaining full guard.

Fightmann had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fay defends it easily.

Fightmann working for a triangle but Fay defends it easily.

Fightmann has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fay can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fightmann looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fay has picked Fightmann up and slammed him! Fightmann can't keep hold of the triangle and Fay manages to pass to side control!

Fay is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fightmann knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fightmann is not content to let Fay control the position.

Fay is pressing down on Fightmann's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fightmann is holding on for now.

Fightmann trying to hold on to Fay's head to control him but Fay postures up.
Fay looks to land a strike but Fightmann avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Fay wants to control from the top but Fightmann keeps moving.

Fightmann is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fay has his hands clasped together but Fightmann extends an breaks Fay's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Fightmann.
