Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Dup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garrett Sheeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dup comes to the cage accompanied by Burning Heart by Survivor. Sheeks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Heman "What makes A man". Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheeks lands with a shot to the body.
Sheeks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Dup. Those never looked like landing.
Dup misses with a body kick.
Sheeks slips a straight right by Dup.
Sheeks lands with a good body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dup is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sheeks sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Sheeks lands with an uppercut that bounces Dup off the cage and back into range.
Sheeks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dup looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sheeks scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Sheeks and Dup goes tumbling to the canvas! Sheeks follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Max Dup has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dup won't allow Sheeks to pass to mount.
Sheeks content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Sheeks working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Garrett Sheeks wasn't active enough on the ground.
Dup throws a right hand that misses
and Sheeks counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dup misses the shot to the body.
Dup thows a body shot but no joy.
Sheeks scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sheeks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dup moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Garrett Sheeks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sheeks drops Dup with a left right combo! Sheeks follows him down to the ground into side control.
Sheeks tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The strikes coming from Sheeks are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Let's hope that Sheeks has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sheeks is looking to take a break and control but Dup is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Garrett Sheeks.
Sheeks avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Sheeks drops Dup with a right and a left! Sheeks comes rushing in but Dup regains his composure and manages to keep Sheeks in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sheeks is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Oh Dup is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dup seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Garrett Sheeks.
Dup throws a solid leg kick but Sheeks takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dup.
Dup misses with a combination
and Sheeks counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Max Dup's cut is getting worse.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dup fails with a takedown attempt.
Sheeks lands with a hook. Dup tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Garrett Sheeks dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Max Dup's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Sheeks counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sheeks cracks Dup on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dup falls backwards against the cage. Sheeks follows up with more strikes that drop Dup to his knees. Sheeks keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dup! This one is all over!
