Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zander Holyfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas has chosen Drowning Pool - Step up as his entrance music. Gavin Douglas acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas misses with the combination.
Douglas takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Holyfield moves away from the strike by Douglas.
Holyfield catches Douglas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Douglas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Holyfield tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Douglas is in Holyfield's guard.

Douglas is trying to trip Holyfield. He has hold of a leg but Holyfield is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Douglas persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Douglas is trying hard to land a takedown here. Holyfield sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Holyfield bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Douglas closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Holyfield's guard.

Douglas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Douglas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
