PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawrence Fairchild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fairchild comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fought the Law kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda throws a leg kick but Fairchild sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Honda feints and as Fairchild raises his hands in defense, Honda changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fairchild looking for a sweep. Not yet Fairchild, not yet.
Honda trying to control the position from guard on top but Fairchild is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Honda is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Honda postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Honda tries to free his leg and advance position but Fairchild is retaining full guard.

Fairchild really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Honda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Keisuke Honda just wasn't active enough.

Honda closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fairchild's guard.

Honda is controlling the pace.
Honda looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Honda lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Honda! Fairchild is hurt baaadly! Honda is firing away with more strikes - Fairchild is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
